Janice Hartwell

Janice Joy Hartwell, age 71 of Pearl, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Merit Central Hospital.

A Memorial service will be held Monday, August 24, 2020 at 11:00am at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with Rev. Charles David Finch officiating. Visitation will start at 10:00am until service time.

Janice was born in Mendenhall, MS on July 24, 1949 to the late William Mancell Brooks and Thelma Louise Bowwen Brooks.

She ran a bar called the Vidock for ten years. Janice loved to clean house, laugh, joke, be kind to people, she was a good listener, a wonderful mom and very loving.

Janice is survived by her two sons, William Hartwell and James Rodriguez (Shannon); siblings, Tommy, Linda, and Karen; and she was also survived by William Flann.
