Janice Grantham

Janice V. Grantham, age 77, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 27, 2022.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, March 3, 2022, at 11:00 am from the chapel of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Burial will follow in Everett Cemetery in Mendenhall, MS. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 2, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Thursday, March 3, 2022, from 9:00 am until 10:45 am at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.

Janice was born on March 21, 1944, in New Orleans, LA to the late James and Pearl Varnado. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Carol Hancock.

Janice was a faithful member of Brandon Baptist Church. Janice retired from BellSouth in 1997 after 35 years of service. She loved flower gardening, planning socials, and decorating. Janice had a servant’s heart always helping others and volunteering her services. She lived life to the fullest, loved people, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Janice is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Harry Grantham; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Mark Alford; grandson, Braeden Alford; brother, Jimmy Varnado; many other relatives and friends.
