Jamie Gilbert

Jamie Gilbert, age 64, a resident of Lena, passed away at his home on Saturday, September 11, 2021. An avid outdoorsman, Jamie enjoyed the atmosphere of the woods, duck hunting, deer hunting and spending time at the deer camp with his hunting buddies. He also enjoyed the game of golf. He was a retired mechanic, having been employed with the Chevrolet Corporation (27 years), Conway Freight (10 years), and Helmrich and Payne Drilling (5 years).

Survivors include his wife: Tammy Mason Gilbert; two son: Brent Gilbert and his fiancé, Nikki Fletcher and Jayce Gilbert; his mother: Mrs. Bobbie Sue Cockrell Gilbert; two brothers: McHenry Gilbert, Jr., and his wife Jan of Ludlow and Tim Gilbert and his wife, Janice of Leesburg; two sisters also survive: Pamela Jones of Leesburg, and  Connie Crawford and her husband, Mike of Clifton; two grandchildren: Cameron Gilbert and Kay’Leigh Edwards; several nieces and nephews.

Jamie is preceded in death by his father: Mr. McHenry Gilbert, Sr. and one daughter: Jamie Lynn Gilbert Kennedy of Lena.
