James Henry Westbrook, Jr., age 68, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024.
He was born in Jackson, MS on September 19, 1955. He worked as a mechanic and loved mudding in his truck.
James is preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester and Lottie Mae Shoemaker; granddaughter, Haley Marie Kaus; siblings, Edna Quarles, Carolyn Dorsey, Darlene Kintsley, Merry Thompson, Christine Hood, Terry J. Shoemaker, and Gerry Shoemaker.
He is survived by his fiancé, Brenda Martin; children, Bridgett Quarles, Jason Westbrook, Derek Martin, and Todd Martin; grandchildren, Rodney Quarles, Collin Quarles, Alexis Quarles, and Jade Westbrook; great-granddaughter, Paisley Wadford; siblings, Sherry (John) Roby and Jerry (Debbie) Shoemaker.
