James Allen Miranda, 86, passed away on Thurs. Dec. 28, 2023, in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Sat. Jan. 6, 2024, from 11am-1pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 1pm on Sat. Jan. 6, 2024, at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.

 

Mr. Miranda was born on Aug. 29, 1937, in Dayton, OH to the late Ned Richley Miranda and Betty Jane Coughlin Stewart Miranda. He was a member of Walker Hill Baptist Church in Brandon, MS.

 

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Miranda; 3 children, Larry Miranda (Bobbie), Michael Miranda (Kim) and Stephen Miranda (Stacy); 5 grandchildren, Heather Stanley (Tripp), Brittany Blankenship (Ben), Riley Miranda, Mia Davis, Mady Everts and 4 great grandchildren, Aiden Stanley, Everleigh Stanley, Ezra Blankenship, and Oliver Blankenship. Mr. Miranda is also preceded in death by his brother, Larry Miranda and a grandchild, Meghan Miranda.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shell Oil Road Volunteer Fire Dept. at 1218 Wade Patrick Rd. Brandon, MS 39042.
