James H. Cook, Brandon,MS


James H. Cook, a native of Star, MS and resident of Brandon, MS passed away Friday, December 24, 2010 at his home after a long illness. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, December 26, 2010 at the Star Baptist Church Cemetery in Star, MS with Rev. R. C. Rice officiating. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS is in charge of arrangements.

James was a member of Flowood Baptist Church; a Veteran of the U. S. Army; and retired from the Mississippi Department of Transportation.

James is survived by his wife Christine; son, Carl Cook and daughter, Angie Cook; sisters, Myrtle Miller, May Donnell, Minnie Hardwick, Margie Bell, and Mildred Ashley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Star Cemetery Fund, P. O. Box 134, Star, MS 39167.
