James (Jim) Woodard Carraway, 82, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 10:30am Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Visitation will be 5-7pm Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment will be at a later date in Basswood Cemetery in Basswood, MS.
Survivors include his wife, Mary C. Carraway; sons, Kirk Carraway (Cindy) and Ken Carraway (Beth); grandchildren, Clinton, Amanda, Graham, Molly, Kristina, Coleman, Carson, Brandon and Hannah, he is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Mary Lynne Carraway. He was preceded in death by a son, David Carraway; and his parents John Woodard and Lela Jones Carraway.
