James Zandel Boykin

James Zandel Boykin – 61, a resident of Philadelphia, MS passed away on March 12, 2024 at his home. He was born July 1, 1962 in Scott County, Ms. A visitation will be held Wednesday at Ott and Lee of Forest from 4-7pm and Thursday from 12-1pm. Funeral services will begin at 1 with Pastor Chester Carlisle officiating. Graveside service will follow at Evans Tabernacle Cemetery in Union, MS. 

James was a mechanic by trade and loved being in the woods, hunting and fishing. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Boykin and Molly Morgan; brother, Randall Boykin; and sister, Tessie Ann Morgan. 

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Ray Boykin; daughter, Crystal Jean Boykin; two brothers, Jason and Jake Morgan; two grandchildren, Davin Boykin and Da’Shia Brown; and one great grandchild, Colton Eubanks.
