Jack Gordy

Jack Ray Gordy Brandon, MS Jack Ray Gordy, 69, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2011 after a brief, brave battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of forty years, Frances, their son David, daughter-in-law Xiaoshan, and granddaughter Caroline Elise. He is also survived by his brother, Tim Gordy of Hattiesburg, sister-in-law Billie, and a host of nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his son, Dylan Thomas Gordy and his parents, Jack and Mildred Gordy of Laurel. On Wednesday, September 28, a rosary service will be held at 5:00 pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon for family and friends, followed by visitation from 5:30-8:30. On Thursday, September 29, there will again be visitation held at St. Paul Catholic Church in Flowood from 9:00-11:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00.
