Hubert E. Hoover Jr, 81, passed away Thurs. Feb. 10, 2022 at the Brandon Nursing and Rehab Center in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Mon. Feb. 14, 2022 from 12:30pm-1:45pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm on Mon. Feb. 14, 2022 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Oakdale Cemetery in Brandon, MS.

Mr. Hoover was born on Feb. 25, 1940 in Scott County, MS to the late Hubert E. Hoover Sr. and Ruby Bell Donald Hoover.

He is survived by his five children, Paul Hoover (Kathy), Marvin Hoover, Ben Hoover (Debra), Tina Stutts (Billy) and David Hoover (Robin); sister in law, Helen Huff; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Hoover is also preceded in death by his wife, Marie Joyce Hoover; sister, Ruby Joyce Hoover and 4 brothers, Joe Hoover, Lavelle Hoover, Lamar Hoover and Wayne Hoover.
