Hilda Guysinger

Hilda C. Guysinger, 78, passed away on Fri. March 11, 2022 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Sun. March 13, 2022 from 1pm-2:45pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 3pm on Sun. March 13, 2022 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Brandon Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS.

Mrs. Guysinger was born on Dec. 20, 1943 in Meridian, MS to the late Christopher C. Cornelius and Elizabeth Smith Cornelius. Mrs. Guysinger loved to help people and she retired as a nurse. She enjoyed working with flowers, painting, needle work, going shopping and playing dominos with the church ladies. She also loved her puppy dog “Ginger”.

Mrs. Guysinger is survived by her two daughters, Christie Hough (David) and Jeri Ann Jones (Wes); son, Andy Measells (Tami); bonus daughter, Kenya Talley; 15 grandchildren, Christopher Clark, Karen Clark, Daniel Hough, Josh Hough (Kayla), Jake Hough, Nikki Lasseter (Phillip), Christian Campbell (Robert), Austin Measells, Madison Brunt, Neely Brunt, Macy Brunt, Taylor Jones, Courtney Jones, Jamie Jones,  and Haley Barrett; 12 great grandchildren, Madison Hough, Connor Hough, Denver Hough, Cooper Hough, Titus Lassetter, Thatcher Lassetter, Theordore Lassetter, Oliver Campbell, Keigan Campbell, Norah Jones, Emma Barrett, Addison Barrett and several special friends. Mrs. Guysinger is also preceded in death by her husband, O.H. Guysinger.
