Harvey H. Brewer Jr., 76, passed away on Mon. April 28, 2025 in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Thurs. May 1, 2025 from 4pm-6pm at New Life Assembly of God located at 300 Shiloh Rd. Brandon, MS 39042. Funeral Services are 9am on Fri. May 2, 2025 at New Life Assembly of God. Burial will be held at 1:30pm Fri. May 2, 2025 at the Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS is handling arrangements.

Mr. Brewer was born in Jackson, MS on May 8, 1948 to the late Harvey Brewer Sr. and Lois McCrory Brewer. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Brewer was a board member of New Life Assembly of God in Brandon, MS.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Brewer; three children, Sherry Ellingson (Tom), Rhonda Smith (Kerry) and Paula Hazel (Billy); sister, Dorothy Thompson (Billy); four grandchildren, Haley Bass, Devin Bass (Hope), Christin Smith (Joey), Stephen Smith and seven great grandchildren, Chandler Sistrunk, Hanna Sistrunk, Noah Craine, Delilah Bass, Culley Smith, Gracie Smith and Audrie Smith. Mr. Brewer is also preceded in death by his son, Harvey Henry Brewer III and a grandchild, Aaron Smith.
