Harriet Lowe

Harriet Trammell Lowe, age 62 of Brandon, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 28, 2022.

A Graveside service will be 1:00pm Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Hebron Cemetery in Sardis, MS, with Rev. Steve Wilson officiating. Pallbearers will be Malcolm Lowe, III, Andrew Sikorski, Robert Lowe, Eddie Shepherd, Trammell Shepherd, and Donnie Joe Skelton. The family will receive friends for visitation 5:00pm until 7:00pm Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.

Harriet was born on January 22, 1960, in Sardis, MS to the late Harry Leroy Trammell and Francis Davis Trammell.

Harriet was a member of First Baptist Church of Brandon. She loved the Lord, spending time with her family, antiquing, being outdoors, hunting, and fishing. Harriet Graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor’s Degree of Agriculture Economics and was past President of the Mississippi Agriculture Economics Association at MSU. Harriet was the first female District Conservationist in Mississippi with the Natural Resource Conservation Service. She also worked as a Realtor in the Brandon area and had a true Entrepreneur’s work ethic.

Harriet is survived by her husband of 40 years and seven months, Malcolm Lowe; children, Malcolm (Anna) Lowe, III, and Hillary (Andrew) Sikorski all of Brandon, MS; grandchildren, Lucy, Malcolm IV, and Cheyenne; sisters, Helen (Eddie) Shepherd of Huntsville, AL, and Hope (Donnie Joe) Skelton of Goldsboro, NC; a host of other relatives and friends.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the Compassus employees Destiny, Heather, Kim, Maggie, and Mischa for the love, care, and support they gave through out the Hospice process.
