Gracie Alvarez

Gracie Ann Alvarez, age 56 and a resident of Forest, died Tuesday, October 25, 2022, following an extended illness.

Gracie was born in Rosenberg, TX on September 14, 1966, to her parents, Willie Trevino and Celestina Ochoa Trevino.  She resided there until 2001 and relocated to Forest, MS with her husband Julio Alvarez.  She was a woman of Christian faith, staying home and taking care of her children.  She loved her family and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her husband, Julio Alvarez,  of Forest, mother Celestina Ochoa Trevino of Rosenberg, TX  her children Julio Alvarez, Jr. (Juanita) of Tupelo, MS  John Alvarez (Elizabeth) of Canton, MS, Eugene Alvarez (Nicole) of Pearl, MS  Michelle Martinez (Ulises),  Karla Moto (Oscar) and Kevin Bonilla all of Forest, MS.  Other survivors include 2 sisters,  Michelle Linares, Sierra Dodson, and a brother Willie Trevino, Jr.  Gracie leaves behind a legacy of 14 grandchildren.
