Glynn Orban Thornton, 68, passed away on Tues. Aug. 3, 2021 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be held on Fri. Aug. 6, 2021 from 11am-1pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Graveside Services are 1:30pm on Fri. Aug. 6, 2021 at the Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.
Mr. Thornton was born in Jackson, MS. He served his country in the United States Army and retired as a Captain with the Jackson Fire Department.
He is survived by his two sons, Ryan Glynn Thornton and Reese Orban Thornton; former wife, Kathy Reese Hardin (Ronnie); sister, Sandra Smith; father, Orban Thornton; niece, Brandi Smith and a nephew, Bradley Smith (Angel). Mr. Thornton is preceded in death by his mother, Lucy Thornton.
