Glenda Hemphill

Glenda Wigley Hemphill, 76, passed away on Mon. Dec. 12, 2022 at her home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Thurs. Dec. 15, 2022 from 5pm-7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.

Mrs. Hemphill was born on Sept. 15, 1946 in Yazoo County, MS to the late D.C. Wigley and Florence Davis Wigley. Mrs. Hemphill retired from the Rankin County School District and her hobbies included taking care of her grandchildren, squirrels and birds. Mrs. Hemphill also loved to travel with her family.

She is survived by her two children, Matt Hemphill (Lisa) and Todd Hemphill (Cristy) and four grandchildren. Trey Hemphill, Kayla Hemphill, Madilyn Hemphill and Abbey Hemphill. Mrs. Hemphill is also preceded in death by her husband, Berry Hemphill.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church at 128 Bethel Church Rd. Brandon, MS 39042.
