George Reeves

George Maurice Reeves born June 3, 1930 in Polkville, MS; whose parents were Clemmie and Lura Reeves. He is preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Ray, Lavon, Travis and Robert Kelly Reeves.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Garner Reeves; son Scott M. Reeves (Kelly) and two grandchildren who he adores, Logan S. Reeves (Emily) and Claire I. Reeves. He is also survived by a brother, Cecil Reeves; sister, Wille Mae Lee (Earnest); sister in law, Sherrell Reeves and many nieces and nephews.

Maurice served in the United States Navy and was a member of Meadow Grove Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. His life career was employment as salesman in the wholesale plumbing industry. He retired from Carr Plumbing and Supply at age 88.

Due to Covid-19 and family health reasons private family only services will be held. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS is handling arrangements.
