Geilda Ann Brister, 83, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022, at her home. Visitation will be 1pm until 2:45 pm Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.  Services will follow at 3:00 pm in the chapel with burial in Canton City Cemetery.

Mrs. Brister was born in Carrollton, MS on June 16, 1939, to James Douglas Lemley and Mary Katherine Caviness Lovell.  Geilda was a member of Lone Pine Baptist Church and was very involved in Precept Ministries Bible Study.  She worked for Community Coffee for many years before retiring.

Survivors include her children, Sammy Bullen, Jeff Bullen, and Ann Tardo (Nathan); two grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Horace Brister; daughter, Nicole Bullen and her siblings, Mary Lemley and Jackie Alderson.
