Fredrick “Ricky” Anthony Mills, 51, tragically passed away in the early morning of Monday December 21, 2020.

Ricky grew up in Brandon, MS and graduated from Brandon High School where he enjoyed playing golf and football. Soon afterwards he took a job with Baptist Hospital where he remained for 30 years.  It was during this time he accomplished a higher education, obtaining a degree from Belhaven University.

Ricky had a passion for the Mississippi State University Bulldogs, as well as spending much time with friends playing golf.

He is survived by his children Mallory LaFountaine (Josh), Madison “Maggie” Mills, Mason Mills, and Mauri Mills; grandchildren Charles “Charlie” LaFountaine, Rachel LaFountaine, and Ruby LaFountaine; as well as his brother Andy Mills.

He was preceded in death by his parents Rachel Mills and Dixon Mills, and just recently his grandmother Glema Erwin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent in Ricky’s memory to Catholic Charities, Diocese of Jackson, MS.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.
