Frederick Joseph Heindl, Sr.
Frederick Joseph Heindl, Sr., 74, went to his eternal home on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. Visitation will be 1-3pm Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral services will be 3pm Sunday in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow at Andrew Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Heindl was born in Canton, MS, on April 5, 1948, the son of the late George and Jewel Heindl. He graduated from Mississippi State University where received his bachelors degree in agricultural economics and his masters degree in agricultural economics.
His pastimes included watching Mississippi State athletic events and keeping up with his thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandsons. In addition to this, he loved exploring the countryside with his loving wife, Dorian. Mr. Heindl had unconditional love for his family and his friends. He valued and loved his family every day of his life. He stated that his legacy is his five children whom he is extremely proud of for their accomplishments, character, and Christian devotion, and for all thirteen grandchildren and two great grandsons.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Dorian Rogers Heindl; his daughters Allison Heindl LeBlanc and her husband J.P, Anna Claire Heindl Roberts and her husband Brian; his three sons, Michael Heindl and his wife Jennifer; Paul Heindl and his wife Adriana; and Joe Heindl and his wife Sarah; his step-daughters Wendy Rogers and Nancy Rogers; the loves of his life, thirteen grandchildren, Sammy, Elijah, Taryn, Harrison, Nicholas, Annelise, Kali, Haddie, Esli, Ashlyn, Nora, Piper Rose, and Elizabeth; and his great grandsons, Jayson and Casen. He is also survived by his four sisters Catherine May (Lamar), Patricia Ross (Buck), Nancy Lewis, and Gloria Bratton (Danny).
Fred’s gentle spirit and loving personality will be greatly missed but we rejoice knowing he is with his greatest love, Jesus Christ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory may be made to Mississippi State University’s Farmhouse Fraternity and Gideons International.
