BURIAL: LAKEWOOD MEMORIAL PARK
VISITATION: 5-8 PM TUESDAY
Frank Barkdull, 76, died Monday, June 21, 2010 at Brandon Nursing and Rehab. Services are 11 am Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation is 5-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Barkdull was born August 5, 1933 to Guy Barkdull, Sr. and Mabel Dickerson Barkdull in Summit and has been a longtime resident of the Jackson area. He was a retired manager with Redd Pest Control in Vicksburg and a member of the Jackson Revival Center. Mr. Barkdull was also a member of the Civitan International, past director of Region One, past president of the Vicksburg Civitan Club and past president of the Jackson Jaycees. He loved to sing and play the accordion and the piano.
His parents, brothers, F. E. “Buck” Barkdull, Guy Barkdull, Jr. and A.E. “Dink” Barkdull, all of Summit and sister, Louree Lang of Bogalusa, LA preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Paulette Barkdull of Brandon and dog Sheba; sister-in-law, Elaine Barkdull of Summit and a number of nieces and nephews.
