Frances Lucille King Burnham Shirley, 79, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Merit Health Rankin.  Services will be 11am Friday at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with visitation starting at 9am.  Burial will follow in Everett Cemetery in White Oak, MS.

Fran was born in White Oak to James Rosco King and Christine Marie Cook King on August 19, 1943.  She was a Dental Assistant at Mississippi State Hospital until her retirement in 1997.

Survivors include her daughter, Frana Burnham; son, Ron Burnham; grandson, Blake Burnham (Kelsey); sisters, Linda Faye Welch (Royce), Elaine King; and a brother, Roger King.  She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, James Roy King, Charles LaRue King and Doyle King; and her husband, Dr. J.C. Shirley.
