Eullis Westbrook

Eullis Westbrook, a beloved member of his community, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the Baptist Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. He was born on August 10, 1933, in Lena, Mississippi, and lived a life filled with dedication to his work, faith, and family.

Eullis worked many years in the parts department at Van Trow Oldsmobile, which is now known as Phil Moore Buick GMC, before his well-deserved retirement. A proud US Army Veteran, he served during the Korean Conflict, demonstrating a commitment to his country.

Eullis was a devoted member of Liberty Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. His faith was an important part of his life and influence on those around him.

A true outdoorsman at heart, Eullis cherished the time he spent bird hunting, especially for quails. This love for nature showcased his adventurous spirit and appreciation for the world around him.

Eullis is survived by his son, David Alan Westbrook and wife Karen; his son, John Chadwick "Chad" Westbrook and wife Patti; his grandson, David Alan Westbrook, II and wife Laurin; and his great granddaughter, Gracie Ann Westbrook.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jon Harrington Westbrook; his father, George Elton Westbrook; his mother, Elsie Estelle Holmes Westbrook; his sister, Lorittis McCulloch; and his brothers, Elton Westbrook and Jerry Westbrook.

Visitation will be held at Ott & Lee Funeral Homes in Brandon, Mississippi Friday on May 30, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and the second will be on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 2:00 PM.  Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, Mississippi. 

Eullis Westbrook will be remembered for his kindness, love for family, and an unwavering spirit. He touched many lives and leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion.
