Emma Eubanks

Mrs. Emma Joyce Eubanks, age 75, a resident of Morton, MS, Passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at home surrounded by her family.

Visitation for Mrs. Emma will be 5;00pm TO 8:00pm Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home, in Morton, MS. Sunday, visitation will be from 12:00pn to 1:45pm, with the Funeral Service to follow at 2:00pm in the Ott and Lee Chapel in Morton, MS. Bro. Brice Harrell will be officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers are, Russel Creason, Lance Merchant, Richard Gregory, Richard Prestage, Jimmy Ray Hines, and Donnie Meeks. Honorary pallbearers are, Chris Grimsley, and Jerry Griffin.

Born September 20, 1947, to Barnard and Bessie Huggins Carroll in Leake county. A member of First United Pentecostal Church in Morton, Mrs. Emma's loved, garage sales, going out to eat, taking trips, she loved her church and family, and will be missed by all that loved and knew her.

Preceded in death by her parents, Barnard and Bessie Carroll, first husband, James "Jimmy Dale" Burkes Sr. Survived by three children, Melinda Joyce Burkes, (Michael), James Dale "Bubba" Burkes, Jason Shane Burkes. Two sisters, Edna McBride,(Junior), Gail Griffin, (Jerry); eight grandkids and eleven great grandchildren.
