ElWanda Pope Thornton

ElWanda Pope Thornton, 72, passed away at her home on Nov. 6, 2024 in Flowood, MS. Visitation will be held on Sat. Nov. 16, 2024 from 2pm-3pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Sat. Nov. 16, 2024 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS.

Mrs. Thornton was born in Rome, GA on July 26, 1952 and was currently a resident of Flowood, MS.

She is survived by by her daughter, Tammi Arancio (Andrew Southerland); grandchildren, Paul Southerland, Gabriel Arancio, Zebediah Arancio and Janna Arancio; sisters, Polly Pippin, Ann Haskew (EB) and Joan DiMartino (John); nieces and nephews, Lacy Hall (Christian), Pam Brunson (Joey), Cory Pippin (Lindsey), Lisa Connell (Todd) and numerous great nieces & great nephews.
