Mr. Edward Eugene Sistrunk
Pelahatchie, MS
Mr. Gene Sistrunk, age 53, a resident of Pelahatchie passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 in Brandon.
He was born in Shelby County on November 11, 1970. He loved hunting and fishing. Gene enjoyed listening to gospel music and watching Charles Stanley and Billy Graham on tv. He loved his family very much and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Doyle Sistrunk and 3 sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Sistrunk of Brandon; mother, Dorothy Jean Sistrunk of Morton; daughter, Ashley Roper (Jason) of Pelahatchie; 6 siblings, Ronnie Rainey, Timothy Perryman, Brenda Mills, William, Keith & Steven Sistrunk; granddaughter, Adalynn Roper and a host of friends.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
