Edward B. Deason, 86, passed away Friday, Dec. 2, 2016 in Prattville, AL. Visitation will be held on Tues. Dec. 6, 2016 from 5pm-7pm and on Wed. Dec. 7, 2016 from 1pm-1:45pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm on Wed. Dec. 7, 2016 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial in the Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery in Jackson, MS.
Mr. Deason was born in Kosciusko, MS and was a longtime resident of Rankin County, MS. He was a member of Siwell Road Church of Christ in Jackson, MS.
He is survived by three children, Cheryl Deason, James Deason (Rebecca) and Tommy Deason (Anita); four sisters, Helen Acey, Laverne Prouty, Faye Shivers and Peggy Sheridan; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Mr. Deason is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Dozier Deason; parents, Claude & Dora Deason and three brothers, Charles Deason, Bob Deason and Ben Deason.
