Dura L. Hart

Dura L. Hart, 90, passed away on Tues. Aug. 12, 2025, in Brandon, MS. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Sun. Aug. 17, 2025, at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will follow the service from 2pm-4pm on Sun. Aug. 17, 2025, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Graveside services are 11am on Mon. Aug. 18, 2025, at the Lewiston Cemetery in Kentwood, LA.

Mrs. Hart was born on March 7, 1935, in Kentwood, LA to the late Ralph Lewis and Louiedell Ferrell Lewis.

She is survived by her son, Jim Hart (Amanda); two grandchildren, Janelle Richard, William Hart; sister, Martha Holbrook; nephews, Justin Holbrook, Jared Holbrook, Scott Lewis, Mitchell Lewis, Trent Lewis and a niece, Nicole Neal. Mrs. Hart is also preceded by her husband of 50 years and high school sweetheart, William Hart; son, John Hart and a brother, Mitchell Lewis.
