Funeral services for Dorothy Mae Dillon Bailey will be conducted Sunday, February 1, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. from the Ott and Lee Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Conehatta Methodist Cemetery under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bailey was born June 16, 1937 in Greenville, MS. She died January 27, 2015 in Murfreesboro, TN at the age of 77. She was a longtime resident of Conehatta and had lived in McMinnville, TN the last several years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening. She loved her Conehatta Baptist Church family very much. She will be missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Ishmael Bailey, Jr., and her parents: John and Emma Dillon.
Survivors include her four children: Linda (Garry) McCormick of McMinnville, TN; Robert (Lissa) Bailey of Conehatta; Randy (Wendy) Bailey and Lori (Wayne) Atwood, both of Lake; one brother: Charles “Indian” Dillon of Greenville; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
