Dorothy Leora Bishop

Dorothy Leora Bishop, 95, passed away on Mon. April 1, 2024 at her home in Brandon, MS. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS handled arrangements.

Mrs. Bishop was born on Jan. 4, 1929 in California to the late Harry Elberta Miles and Ruth Ida Briggs Miles.

She is survived by her children, Sara Ward, James Marvin Bishop (Deborah) and Timothy Miles Bishop; grandchildren, Rachel Southerland, Beth Ann Haarala, David Cannon, Jimmy Bishop, Angela Phillips, Tillman Bishop and 16 great grandchildren. Mrs. Bishop is preceded in death by a child, Jane Katherine Bishop; siblings, John Miles, Winifred Cox, Edith Stadterman, Babe Tindall, Harrison Elbert Miles and a grandchild, Ashley Lee.
