Donna Morton

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 10th, 2022, at Restoration Church for Mrs. Donna Lou Morton, 78. She was welcomed into the arms of her Savior and entered heaven's gates on September 4, 2022, surrounded by her family at her home. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS handled arrangements.

Mrs. Donna Morton was born January 27, 1944, in Kansas City, MO to Harry Luther and Hilda Tinken Officer.

Mrs. Donna Morton was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Donna held a very proud title of "Memaw" and was lovingly called this by many. Family was the most important thing in Donna's life, and her family also included the friendships she held so dearly to heart. Those closest to Donna knew of her giving heart, welcoming arms, and loving embrace. She never met a stranger that she didn't show genuine kindness towards. Donna was a faithful servant to her Lord, Jesus Christ, and she lived her life in accordance with that. She will be greatly missed by many, and her memories will be cherished forever.

Mrs. Donna Morton was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Steven Morton, two children, Stan Morton (Sandra) and Monica Wimberley (Chris) as well as a sister-in-law, Anni Morton-Wait. She leaves behind seven grandchildren: Ashley Morton (Brandon Goehner), Emily Corley (Josh), Abigail Jackson (Warren), Daniel Wimberley, Nikolas Pena, Maria Ordonez, and Sebastian Seneca. She also has three great grandchildren to include Arthur Goehner, Carsen Corley, and Payson Corley.
