Dennis was born May 28, 1958 to John Britian Stuart and Nellie Bea Richardson Stuart in Jackson, Ms. He proudly served his country until a tragic car accident left him paralyzed. Dennis continued doing things that were so amazing to all of his family and friends. He managed to have a garden that he could work in by having concrete rows for his wheelchair to go down. He also enjoyed boat rides in his boat and had his vehicles designed for him to go wherever he chose. Dennis Ray was a very independent person that never let his disability stop him from doing things that he enjoyed.

Dennis was a man of many words, and when he spoke, people either listened or laughed at his witty personality. He would always have an answer but if he didn’t, he would search for the answer on his many technology resources. His computer skills were phenominal!

Dennis enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved to research everything, work on his many computers , but always made time for his family and friends. His home was an open door for many who needed advice or help. His dog, Sunshine, was his very special companion and his best friend.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Britian Stuart and Nellie Bea Richardson Stuart; three brothers, Kenneth Britain Stuart, Jimmy Arthur Stuart and Timmy Paul Stuart.

Dennis is survived by niece, Christina Oretus Stuart, and nephews Jimmy Paul Stuart (Mara), Conan Stuart (Jesika), Samuel Elijah Stuart, Cliff Stuart and Jett Jacob Stuart (Linda). Great nieces and nephews include Heaven Leigh Alvarado, Timothy Dawson Stokley, Mary Harper Quinn Stuart, Zoey Renea Stuart, Kai Ronin Stuart, Korbin Elijah Stuart, Tinsley Evelyn Stuart, Jack Riley Stuart, Timothy Odin Hobbes Stuart, Jasper Smith, Jackson Elijah Stuart and Edie Harper Stuart, Jett Stuart, and Dylan Stuart.
