Della Fitzhugh

Mrs. Della Mae Fitzhugh, age 89, a resident of the Eureka community passed away Monday, August 22, 2022, at home surrounded by her family.

Born on March 2, 1933, in Rankin County, to, John and Addie Stewart Bowman. She was a Christian and a member of Allen Chapel Baptist Church. Hobbies of Mrs. Della was hunting, fishing, and gardening, but spending time with her family brought her great joy.

Preceded in death by her parents, John and Addie Bowman, all siblings and her husband, Merl Fitzhugh.

Mrs., Della is survived by two daughters, Jean Massey, her husband, (John), Ann Crechale, her husband, (Paul); four grandchildren, John David Massey, wife, (Jessica), Josh Massey, Courtney Bellinger, her husband, (husband), Brad, Rachel Shuman, husband, Jeremiah; four great grandchildren, John Tyler Massey, Parker Massey, Page Bellinger, and Breanna Shuman, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation was Friday August 26,2022 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton MS, with the Funeral Service immediately following, interment was in Morton Memorial Gardens. Funeral Services were entrusted to Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS.
