David Lee Huff was born to Maxwell and Lorraine Huff February 25, 1963. He died peacefully at his home April 29, 2026, with special friends at his side. He had fought a long battle with cancer.

Dave worked many years as a Professional Land Surveyor. He was occasionally consulted by other surveyors to help them understand a difficult project or set their control points to start their project. He could be called a "surveyor's surveyor" or mentor.

Dave loved people (young and old), animals (especially his cat, Silver), vehicles, and airplanes. He was known for his charm, quick wit, and sense of humor and was often referred to as "The Life of the Party." Two of his enjoyments were driving his cars and flying RC aircraft. When embarking on a project as a builder or mechanic, he striver for perfection.

Dave is preceded in death by his parents, Maxwell and Lorraine Huff, sisters, Patter and Rikki Huff, and his nephew, Dan Hupperich. He is survived by his special friend of many years, Kim McKee, close friends, George and Peggy Shumaker and Trey Walker, siblings, Mike Huff and Rebecca Hill, and many friends.

There will be a time of fellowship following at the home of Mr. Willie and Mrs. Julie Nester.
