Danny Allen Walker, 74, passed away on August 19, 2024, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. There will be a 10:00am Memorial Service on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will begin at 9:00am prior. Inurnment will be at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS. 

 

Mr. Walker was born in Cleveland, MS to Joseph Carlton Walker and Evelyn Gregg Walker on November 11, 1949. He grew up on a farm in Drew, MS. Attended college at Delta State where he received his bachelor’s degree in English. He lived in California for 40 years, working security for Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in LA.

 

Danny enjoyed hunting and fishing and considered himself to be a fashionable cowboy. He was a rambler and a salesman in the automotive industry.

 

Survivors include his wife, Ann Walker; children, Katrina Turner, Heather Lynn Walker Alvarez (Robert), Ian Walker (Suzi); 9 grandchildren, Brandon Turner, Bailey Turner, Dean Mariani, Landon Groom, Dylan Alvarez, Chayton Alvarez, Brody Morgan, Charlotte Walker, and Joseph Walker; 1 great granddaughter, Mariah Turner; sister, Angie Downs (Bill); and brother, Russell Walker (Sharron). He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Carlton Walker and Evelyn Gregg Walker Smith.
