Danny Scott Carr

Loving son, brother, friend and father to his amazing dog Ralph. Danny passed away February 26,2022. Danny was born February 4, 1954 in Scott County Ms. A lifelong resident of Jackson, Danny grew up with many fond memories of his youth in Choctaw Village. He had a strong work ethic and cared for others above himself. Before Danny's health declined he was passionate and loved Hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with family and friends. Later in life he gave his life to the Lord and is resting peacefully in his loving arms. Danny never liked being the center of attention and per his wishes there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Danny's name to the Colon Cancer Coalition. Danny was preceded in death by his father Earl C. Carr, mother Bernice Bates Ragsdale and sister Carolyn Sue Carr.  He is survived by his wife Faye Carr of Jackson. Sister Renee (Kenny) Latham of Calera, Ala. Nieces Angee (Mark) Hanna of Mendenhall & Kayla (Ryan) Rich of Alabaster, Al.
