Danna Thornton

Danna Michelle Thornton, 57 of Brandon, Mississippi passed away at her home on August 19, 2021, at the age of 57. She began her life in Dallas, Texas on December 27, 1963, born to the late Jack and Gladys Howard. Danna was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She was a devoted Christian who proclaimed her life to Jesus Christ. She used every opportunity to preach his gospel and took much pride in being a certified life coach and licensed care giver. Danna is preceded in death by her parents and daughter Gabrielle “Gabby” Tibbs. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Thornton; Son Jeremiah Thornton; Grandson William “Tate” Thornton; Son and Daughter-in-law, Jacob and Abby Thornton; Brothers and sister-in-law, Roger and Nancy Howard / Jack and Bridget Howard; as well a large host loving friends. The memories of Danna will forever be cherished and never forgotten. A visitation will be held on August 22, 2021, from 2:00PM through 5:00PM at the Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, Mississippi. A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM on August 25, 2021, at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Irving, Texas where Danna will be laid to rest at the Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
