Danielle Gatlin Chaney, 48, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. There was a celebration of life service at 4:00 pm on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Home Church in Brandon, MS.

Danielle Renee Gatlin Chaney was born December 4, 1974, in Clearwater, Florida to David and Naomi Gatlin. She was the oldest of their three children David Robert Gatlin II and Gaitha Lee Pennington and was the most loving and supportive sister. She joined her parents on the mission field as a child to Egypt and Costa Rica and continued through her life with a love to serve others that was contagious, beautiful, and inspiring.  We are heartbroken that her beautiful life has been cut short at 48 years of age. Her family will deeply miss her. She was a loving, devoted, and passionate wife and mother. She was a caring and attentive daughter and always the fun aunt.  She was quirky and funny and never met a stranger. Danielle loved Jesus, she loved her family and friends, she loved the ocean, and she always had a heart to help those in need.

Survivors include her husband, Bradley C. Chaney; children Eden Polk, Maggie Polk, and Parker Chaney; mother, Naomi Bridges; bonus mom, Deana Hinson; sister Gaitha Pennington; brothers, Dave Gatlin (Corrie Ann), Jonathan Gatlin (Melanie), and James Gatlin; six nieces and nephews; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Brenda and James Chaney; and sister-in-law, Kendall Chaney. She was preceded in death by her father, David Robert Gatlin.
