Cynthia Patterson Bond

Cynthia "Cindy" Patterson Bond, 69, of Raymond, Mississippi, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 10, 2026.

Born on January 9, 1957, in Mendenhall, Mississippi, to Archie Brown Patterson and Jamie Lorraine Slay Patterson, Cindy grew up in Mendenhall, where she graduated from Mendenhall High School. She continued her education at Co-Lin and Mississippi College.

Cindy was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend—a true Christian Southern lady whose warm spirit touched everyone she met. She was funny and quick-witted, always ready with a clever remark or a loving laugh that could brighten any room. Above all, she was truly selfless; through her quiet acts of kindness and unwavering grace, one could experience Christ's love in the most genuine way.

For most of her adult life, Cindy worked faithfully in the automotive industry, serving in roles from Finance and Insurance to Warranty Administration. Her commitment to her heritage led her to serve as president of the Mississippi Society OCR. Deeply devoted to her faith, she taught children's Sunday school, Vacation Bible School, and led Girls in Action (GA's), pouring her heart into nurturing the next generation in Christ's love. She shared a deep and loving marriage with her late husband, Chuck Bond, and devoted her life to her family and faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck Bond; her parents, Archie and Jamie Lorraine Slay Patterson; and her brothers Walker, Jimmy, Jeff, and Archie Brown Patterson Jr.

She is survived by her loving sister, Jan Gunn of Lena, Mississippi; her daughter, Suzi Bond White (Barrett) of Raymond, Mississippi; her son, George Conor Bond (Brittany Haley) of Florence, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Cody White (Jordyn) of Raymond, Mississippi, RaeLynn Skinner, and Lainey Skinner of Florence, Mississippi; her great-grandsons, Easton and Beau White; countless nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; as well as many dear friends who will carry her faith, laughter, and love always.
