Craig Alan Donald, 58, of Brandon, MS, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, June 5, 2026, at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center, in Jackson, after a courageous fight with kidney cancer.
Born July 21, 1967, Craig was the son of Thelma J. Donald and the late Robert E. Donald. He is survived by his mother; sister, Debbie Williams and husband Jeff; his brother, Robert L. Donald and wife Dawn; along with two nieces and two great nephews.
Craig spent his whole life as a fitter in steel fabrication shops throughout the south. He was talented and well respected by the people he worked with.
He spent 20 years in Jacksonville Fl., where he became an avid and life-long fan of the Jaguars. Other than sports, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and simply being outdoors. He was a trivia buff with an amazing memory for details. He also had a personal relationship with music and spent much of his free time dissecting lyrics and their deeper meaning.
Craig had a quick wit and made friends easily. He will be missed.
A funeral service will be held at Ott and Lee Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
