Cora "Libby" Auwarter

Cora “Libby” Elizabeth Auwarter, age 74, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021, at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 15, 2021, at 2:00pm from Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with visitation starting at 12:00pm. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

She was born in Jackson, MS on March 22, 1947, to the late Mack and Maurine McSwain.

Libby was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Anyone who met her could tell she had such a sweet spirit about her.

Libby is survived by her Don Auwarter; children; Vicki Auwarter, Keith Auwarter, and Randy Auwarter; grandchildren, Cory Clewis and Devin Clewis.

Libby was always a positive person, always willing to help others, and never said and ill word about anyone. She will be truly missed in the lives of her family and friends and leaves a void that cannot be filled.
