Constance "Connie" Emerson

Constance “Connie” Dee Harper Emerson, age 79, a resident of Brandon, MS formally of Orlando, FL passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022, at her residence in Brandon, MS. There will be no services at this time.

Mrs. Emerson was born April 4, 1943, in Central City, KY to Bernie Ray Harper and Eva Mae Cox Harper. She is married to Billy Emerson of Orlando FL. Connie worked as a pharmacy technician at the University of Ole Miss, she was a Lab courier for Roche Pharmaceuticals and worked in retail for many years before retiring. She was an avid gardener and so loved working in her flowerbeds. She was loved dearly by her family including many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.

Mrs. Emerson was preceded in death by her parents, Bernie Ray Harper and Eva Mae Cox Harper of Central City, KY; her 1st husband Jimmie Wayne Rice of Bremen, KY; and sister, Kay Vincent of Graham, KY.

Mrs. Emerson is survived by her husband, Billy Emerson; daughter, Melanie Barnes (Thomas)of Brandon, MS; son, Dewayne Rice of Brandon, MS; sister, Denise Stringer of Central City, KY; grandson, Christian Barnes of Brandon, MS; and many dearly loved relatives.
