Claudia Hernandez

Claudia Ann Hernandez, age 53, a resident of Brandon, MS, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022, in Ridgeland, MS. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Pinelake Church in the Hospitality Room of the Activities Building, 6071 MS-25, Brandon, MS 39047.  A time of visiting and light refreshments will be 2pm - 3pm prior to the service.

Claudia was born December 4, 1969, in Houston, TX, to John C. Hernandez and Judith Pickett Hernandez. She attended Pinelake Church in Flowood, MS. She worked for the Rankin County School District. Claudia loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Claudia was preceded in death by her parents, John C. Hernandez, and Judith Pickett Hernandez.

Claudia is survived by her stepparents, Carlos Pruitt, Sr. and Reba Sheraer-Pruitt; sister, Carman Hernandez Payne (Doug Shannon); stepsister, Tracy Sheraer; niece, Jessica Fulton; nephew, Chris Chapman; great niece and nephews, Caitlyn, Colton, Zane, and Jaxon; and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Claudia Hernandez at the American Lung  Association.
