Clark Dennis

Mr. Clark Dennis, age 88, a resident of Polkville passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2022, at home surrounded by his family. Born on November 27, 1933, to Henry and Melvina Creel Dennis. Clark served his Country in The United States Army. He married the late Myrtle Richardson Dennis, having three boys, they made their home in Polkville. Clark started his own poultry farm and ran it till his retirement. Clark never met a stranger and could be found most days at Nollie White’s café, drinking coffee, and talking with his many friends. People that knew Clark knew he would never shake your hand setting down, no matter how tired he would be. Polkville lost a friend and will be truly missed by all that knew him.

Clark is preceded in death by his wife Myrtle Richardson Dennis, father and mother Henry and Melvina Dennis; two sons, Greg Dennis, and Shannon Dennis; three grandchildren, Nickki Dennis, Amanda Dennis, and Keagan Bryant. He is survived by one son, Jeff Dennis, (Susan); one brother, Otha Dennis; eight grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 1:45 pm Tuesday, October 4, 2022 with Funeral Services at 2:00 pm Tuesday October 4, 2022, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, burial will be at Polkville Baptist Church Cemetery.
