Kris Megan Walters-Upton, 40, passed away on Friday, October 20,2023 in Hinds County, MS. The visitation will be on Thursday, October 26, 2023, from 10am -12 noon, at Roosevelt State Park Lodge, her Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 12 at Roosevelt, State Park in the main lodge located at 2149 Highway 13 South Morton, Mississippi 39117.
She was born on May 11, 1983 in Jackson, Mississippi at Hinds General Hospital. She had a heart-of-gold, was an amazing friend, and she loved music and animals.
She was an adored daughter, sister, mother, wife, and friend.
She is survived by her husband, Josh Upton, and son Elijah Lackey; her mother, Susie Stegall and stepfathers, Tommy Stegall and Mike Jahn; her four sisters, Megan Hirneisen,(Mike), Brookleigh Spence, Hannah Runnels, (Eric), and Lauren Crain (Justin) and a host of nieces nephews and cousins. She is proceeded in death by her father, Billy Spence.
