Chris Stokley, age 46, a resident of Morton passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at his home.  Graveside service will be held 2pm Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Sims Hill Cemetery.  Bro. Donnie Stuart will officiate the service.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Chris was born in Scott County on August 30, 1976.  He was an avid sports fan, especially when it come to watching Ole Miss play football.  Chris enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He loved his son, Dawson and family.  Chris enjoyed everyone getting together as a family.  He worked at Walmart as a Service Technician for many years.  He loved his dog, Brody and Chris will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Taylor Earl Stokley and LaQuita Jo Westberry Stokley, Willard Easterling and Martha Purvis Easterling.

He is survived by his son, Dawson Stokley of Morton; parents, Roger and Sheila Stokley of Morton; other family members and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Robby Gray, Dan Wooten, Roger Stokley, Dawson Stokley, Ryan Stokley and Eddie Easterling.

Memorials may be made in his name and honor to the We Care Mission, Excell or American Cancer Society.
