Cheryl Lucretia Lott, born on June 2, 1944, in Morton, Mississippi, passed away on August 27, 2025, in Brandon, Mississippi. Cheryl was known for her vibrant spirit and her dedication to her craft. She owned Cheryl's Florist and Gifts for many years, and she also worked for several other local florists throughout her career, sharing her love for flowers and arrangements with the community.
Cheryl attended Morton High School, where she began to cultivate her talents that would later flourish in her florist business. She was a person who deeply loved her little Dachshund, Lady. Cheryl had a heart for service and cherished the opportunities to support charities, especially St. Jude's Children's Hospital and various local organizations. Her faith was important to her, as she prayed every day and night for her family and friends by name, living her life guided by His Word.
Cheryl is survived by her loving family. She leaves behind her daughter Anne Smith and husband Terry, son, Glenn Weldon and wife Cindy, son, Dewayne Lott and wife Pam, and her grandchildren: Mandy Logan (Jessie), Allyson Schwartz (Josh), Melody Rigdon (Kyle), Curtis Weldon, Michael Weldon, Jacob Weldon, Chris Lott, and Jacob Lott. Her legacy also continues through her great-grandchildren, Mayleigh Harrell, Max Rigdon, Logan Ridgon, and Akiva Schwartz.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, H.C. Walker and Lucille Hill Walker, as well as her brothers, Larry Walker, Donald Walker, and Nicky Walker.
A graveside service was held at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, Mississippi, on August 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Cheryl will be remembered fondly by all those whose lives she touched with her kindness and talent.
