Charlotte Ann Trest Brien

Ms. Charlotte Ann Brien, age 84, a resident of Morton passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Ms Care Center in Morton. Visitation will be held Friday, December 6, 2024, from 10am-11am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Chapel service will follow at 11am in the chapel. Burial will be in Leesburg Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Griffin officiating. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton is honored to serve the Brien family.

Charlotte was born on December 17, 1931, in Rankin County to Charley Trest and Mary Ruth Parker Trest. She has been a resident of Ms Care Center in Morton for the last 3 years. Charlotte loved to fish, hunt, crochet and draw pictures. In her younger days she was a great dancer and enjoyed going often. Charlotte was a member of Leesburg Baptist Church and after health problems she started going to River Bend Church with her son, Mike.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charley and Mary Ruth Parker Trest; husband, Thomas Richards; son, Joe Richards; 3 brothers, Herbert, Jessie and Charles Trest.

Charlotte was the mother of Claude Anthony Richards, Cherie Noels and Mike Richards. She had 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and special sister-in-law, Earlene Trest.
