Charles Michael Knight

Charles Michael Knight, age 74 of Florence, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, with his family by his side.

A Celebration of Charles’s Life will be at Star Baptist Church 11:00am Thursday, August 17, 2023. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, Wednesday, August 16, 2023, and again on Thursday from 10:00am until 11:00am at the church. Burial will follow in Star Cemetery.

He was born in Laurel, MS on November 24, 1948, to the late Clyde Charles Knight and Artelia Cochran Knight. Charles was a member of Star Baptist Church, enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, watching westerns and driving big trucks. Charles was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Charles is survived by his wife of 50 years Sandra Price Knight, son Rob (Stacy) Knight, grandson, Paxton Knight, sister Lisa (Brent) Martin, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his precious granddaughter Sara Paige Knight.
