Charles Howard Cox, Jr., born on March 7, 1946, in Jackson, Mississippi, passed away on October 20, 2025, in Florence, Mississippi. He was a well-known figure in his community, having owned and operated Cox Heating and Air for many years until his health declined.

Charles had a zest for life that was evident in his love for traveling with friends. He enjoyed exploring new places and creating lasting memories. His fondness for animals was also a notable part of his personality; he had a deep affection for them throughout his life.

He is survived by his children, Chuck, Michael, Beth Anne, and Alyssa, as well as numerous grandchildren. He also leaves behind special friends, Cynthia and John McCoy, who were important to him.

Charles is preceded in death by his wife, Karen Rose Cox, sister, Ruth Allen, and his parents, Charles Howard Cox, Sr. and Maye Covey Cox. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him, as he leaves a legacy of kindness, adventure, and love.
